The tomb of Haji Shabbir Shah Warsi (RA) resembles very much the tomb of Dewa Sharief in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. Shaah Warsi had a strong link with the place of the Warsi sect which is famous across the world. Born in Haldia, Haji Warsi was brought up in Buqra. Then he moved to Dewa Sharief and spent time in the companionship of Baba Naqueeb Shah. He was called there Laila-E-Waris, which means a person close to the world famed saint, Waris Piya. After his death his followers built the Mazaar in Buqra village, which falls under ward no. 7 of Haldia, in Araria district. Buqra is famous for the cultivation of groundnuts which is the prime income source of the local peasants.
