Lakshdeepa Temple
In olden times, one lakh candles, brought from every house of the area, used to illuminate the temple.
The ruins of the temple lie at the foothill of Mandar. The area was well known as Balisha at that time. According to Puranas, this was a Siddha Peeth of Lord Shiva.
