Sprawling over 14 bigha land area, Ajgaibinath temple is one of the most pious destinations for Hindus.
The temple at a height of 108 feet is situated in the Sultanganj, Bhagalpur area which comes under the Bhagalpur division. It is surrounded by the holy Uttar Vahini (flowing from South to North) Ganga. This is the place from where a large number of Hindus in the month of Shravan (June-August) carry the holy water of the Ganga to reach Baidynathdham for pouring it onto Lord Shiva.
