Bateshwar Sthaan
Bateshwar Sthaan also known as Patthargatta is situated about 10 KM northeast of Kahalgaon, on the rocky outcrop of granite hill of Patthargatta, on the right bank of river Ganges. The Vikramshila University site, at village Antichak, lies in the east. The popular temple of Lord Bateshwar (Shiva), built between 6th and 8th centuries lies on the bank of river Ganga in the Kahalgaon subdivision.
