VEERAYATAN
This Jain institute focusing on serving humanity is located amidst hills and garden giving its visitors a feel of calm and serenity.
Veerayatan (derived from two words - ‘Veer’ that stands for Lord Mahavira and ‘aayatan’ that stands for a holy place) is a religious organization based on the principles of Jainism in India. The organization was founded by Acharya Shri Chandanaji in 1973 on the occasion of Lord Mahavira's 2500th 'Nirvana Mahotsava'. Three core focus areas of the organization are seva (service to humanity), shiksha (education), and sadhana (self-development). Veerayatan is the only Jain organization to promote the concept of seva (service to humanity). Its art gallery “Shri Brahmi Kala Mandiram” is the finest tourists attraction displaying the life of 24 Tirthankaras of Jain religion conveying their non-violence philosophy. The surrounding hills and vast garden area with various fruit tree and floral beds have an immediate refreshing feel to the visitor here.
